It’s October once more, which means it is time to take a look at the darker edges of movies. As with last year, the next few weeks will divulge into horror related topics, to celebrate the season of the witch.

Kicking off the proceedings with a blood spattered chainsaw, and a shotgun with only one shell left in the chamber, we are taking a look at the Zombie sub-genre of horror. Aptly, after being more or less dead for a couple of decades, the genre has clawed its way back to life in recent years, and is quite dominant in the media.
