It’s…..
This Sunday 20th December at 8pm GMT over on Twitter!
So, once again I avoid getting festive by skewing in a completely random direction with the topic this week (I mean, come on guys, we did two whole years where December was all festive topics – let’s have a month of general topics instead).
The Python team are quite beloved amongst many of the film community either for their work as a whole, or via their individual projects post-Python. So, this week we have a few questions to cover the team together, and then a question on each of the gang to celebrate their contributions to the comedic world.
See you on Sunday over on Twitter. Just search for #MTOS
Q1: Your first encounter with Python? Was it the TV show, or was it one of the movies? #MTOS
Q2: Which is your favourite of the Python movies, and what is it that makes it stand above the others? #MTOS
Q3: Music has formed a part of the history of Python. What is your favourite Python musical moment, either on TV or in the films? #MTOS
Q4: We all have a favourite Python – which of the gang is the one you find yourself consistently entertained by when watching their films or series? #MTOS
Q5: Life after Python – John Cleese. Post-python, what has he shone the best in on the big screen? #MTOS
Q6: Life after Python – Terry Gilliam. Which Gilliam helmed film is your favourite, and are there any that you haven’t enjoyed? #MTOS
Q7: Life after Python – Eric Idle. Whilst not as prevalent in films after the gang disbanded, Idle still had a decent run. Any films of note that we should be lavishing praise on? #MTOS
Q8: Life After Python – Michael Palin. In between traversing the globe, Palin ventured onto films in some notable support roles. Favourite post-python outing for him? #MTOS
Q9: Life After Python – Terry Jones. Prevalent more as a writer and director post-python, with a scatter of acting outings. Are there any projects Jones worked on that you have a love for? #MTOS
Q10: Graham Chapman’s life was the subject of “A Liar’s Autobiography” – a film adaptation of his rather dubious blend of fiction and life story. Did you see it, and would you recommend it? #MTOS
