In recent years we saw Groundhog Day revisited as a horror with happy Death Day, so why not do a spin on Freaky Friday in a film that was initially aiming to be called Freaky Friday 13th but was not allowed to do so.  The similarities with Happy Death Day are not a coincidence – this is another film from Christopher Landon, who appears to have found a niche.

Vince Vaughn is a serial killer who body swaps with a teenage girl to hilarious horror effect.  Now the killer stalks the halls of the high school, free to wreak death upon any victims, whilst the girl is now trapped in the body of a wanted man.  Can she prove who she is, and stop the killer from using her body before the curse is stuck forever?

Freaky is a cracking entry into the modern comedy horror genre, and makes for a fun friday night film.
