#MTOS: Family Friendly Frights

#MTOS: Family Friendly Frights post thumbnail image

A small question on the latest podcast from my co-host this week sparked up a return to a topic I initially started planning last October, but didn’t actually finish. Trawling through my archive of notes (there’s a load of half finished topics there – might have to bring them to life at some point), I found the 6 questions I had, and have added 4 more on the theme to pad it out for another Movie Talk On Sunday.

The question (for those who haven’t listened – and why not?) was, “Are there any recommendations for scary films to watch with the kid?” So, this week let’s talk about Family Friendly Frights – horror films aimed at younger audiences, or suitable for younger audiences – and even those which maybe shouldn’t be, but can be embraced by the younger horror-phile without too much worry. What films and characters gave you nightmares as a kid?

Starting at 8pm BST this coming Sunday 25th October over on Twitter, to join in the chat simply follow the #MTOS or the account @filmfileuk to answer along as each question fires out.
