This isn’t just due to the current Coronavirus situation, but a glace over the news for the past few years certainly shows signs and portents to an incoming apocalypse. Environmental disasters, looming threat of war, cats and dogs living together…. you get the point.
Anyway, if anything can be said it is that over the decades our world of film entertainment has been prepping us for this moment ever since the short film ‘Fire!’ in 1901 created the disaster movie genre. So, surely we should be well up to the challenge of whatever this world throws at us, yeah?
