So, here’s the thing. By some strange twist of fate I’ve missed out on watching some amazing films over the years that I really should have seen already. Thanks to an app for tracking Oscar nominated films (Meet The Awards – check it out on android) I now have a significant watch-list of films to work through (like I needed more). Amongst that list were a scattering of Paul Newman films – Butch & Sundance, The Sting, Cool Hand Luke, Colour of Money, The Hustler….the list, sadly, goes on. So, this past week and a half, I’ve been ticking films off my list, including those very films. Boy, was I missing out!
So, with a refreshed appreciation for Paul Newman, when it came to thinking up the topic for this week it was a no-brainer.
So, this Sunday 23rd February, over on Twitter from 8pm UK time, let’s discuss the works of Newman, and inevitably have me adding even more films to my list. Just follow the hashtag #MTOS to take part, and remember to include it in your answers so we can all track and follow them.
