So, way back in the days of the original #MTOS, there was another chat thing that took place usually on a Saturday called #TVTOS. With only 6 questions, it looked at TV shows in all their glory. This week is a sort of tribute to that hashtag, with a look at TV, albeit via the transference of movies to the small screen. If the idea seems quite appealing, I may look at turning out a #TVTOS approach every so often (maybe one week out of each month?) Who knows.

Anyway, TV shows spun from films are hardly a new thing, but they seem more and more prominent these days, with horror shows such as Scream, Exorcist, and the like, as well as reports of a Lord of the Rings spin-off, a new Buffy series planned, and shows such as Lethal Weapon. Some work, some seem drawn out and forced, but we still either roll our eyes, cringe, or get excited whenever one is mentioned.

This week on #MTOS we look to delve into the world of TV adaptations, and see what gems we can find, and no-doubt result in us all adding 12 episode series’ to our watch-lists.
