#MTOS October Week 4: Not The Final

Another week, another franchise, and for this week’s Movie Talk On Sunday we are asking questions about the Final Destination series of films which, having seen that the last film came out 11 years ago makes me feel really old right now!

Q1: The first Final Destination film came out in 2000. When did you first see it? Cinema or home release? #MTOS
Q2: Each of the films started off with a huge disaster that one person has a vision of, but which of the five films had your favourite initial disaster? #MTOS
Q3: The deaths that followed for the survivors of the opening were extremely varied. What are your favourites amongst them? #MTOS

Q5: The 4th and 5th film delved into the realm of 3D. Was it an effective gimmick for the series, or did you find it an annoyance? #MTOS
Q6: There were only two actors who had recurring roles, Tony Todd and Ali Larter. What other films from each of them would you say are worth checking out? #MTOS
Q7: Franchise starter James Wong (who came back for the third film) is mostly prominent directing TV, but did also direct two critically panned action films, The One and Dragonball Evolution. But are they really that bad? #MTOS
Q8: As with other franchises, there were spin off books and comics for Final Destination. Has anyone checked them out, and are they worth picking up? #MTOS
Q9: With a reboot of the franchise in the pipeline, are you excited, or did the franchise run out of steam? #MTOS
