#MTOS: Revisiting Marvel

Another look back to an early #MTOS this week, and ti tie into the release of Doctor Strange, it just seemed fitting to look back at a topic about Marvel, now we’ve had 4 years, a merger, and about 4000 new things from them!

So, join in over on Twitter this Sunday 8th May at 8pm as we work through the following questions.

Q1: Let’s start with the titles that Fox used to own – X-Men and Fantastic Four amongst them. Which are you most excited to see enter the MCU somewhere down the line, and any favourite casting choices? #MTOS

Q2: The Fantastic Four films to date were a little…underwhelming, but were they mishandled, or is that aspect of Marvel Comics just not good in and of itself? #MTOS

Q3: What order would you rank the X-Men films (including spin-offs) and why? Were any underrated? #MTOS

Q4: Over to Sony – Holders of the Spider-Man rights, there have been four separate franchise outings for the character so far (including Spider-Verse).  Who was your favourite Peter Parker/Spider-Man?  #MTOS

Q5: Rank the Spider-Man movies in order of preference, and discuss your reasoning for the choices. #MTOS

Q6: Sony have spun out their characters and we’ve already seen Venom and Morbius on screen.  Are you excited for any of the proposed outings planned, or should they stick to working with Disney-Marvel, or just hand all control over to Feige? #MTOS

Q7: So, we come to the Disney MCU – 14 years of films – have we had enough?  Surely it’s all become a bit repetitive and tired by now?  Yeah? #MTOS

Q8: Okay, given the answers to the previous question, which films stand at the defining moments in the MCU?  What are the high points and what made them click so well? #MTOS

Q9: What are the low points, and where did they go wrong? #MTOS

Q10: The MCU are still exploring new characters in their films. Are there any characters you want to see on the big screen alongside the current cast? Which ones already on screen have outstayed their welcome? #MTOS
